Gosto de te ouvir falar

Hoje apeteceu-me fazer um desenho sobre conversa (ou sobre conversar...) de vez em quando dá vontade de apanhar frases soltas e tentar pô-las em desenho, um bocadinho à imagem dum certo site chamado exploding dog. A propósito disto convido os caríssimos leitores a enviarem-me frases que não sejam muito grandes que eu tentarei posteriormente ilustrar.. só não prometo ilustrar todas porque ando curta de tempo.

Today i felt like making a picture on "conversation". Once in a while i feel like catching spare sentences and illustrating them, a bit like what happens in the site exploding dog. I'm now inviting my readers to send me some sentences too and i will try to illustrate them. I cannot promise i'll be able to do them all, has i'm haven't had much time lately.

Humpty Dumpty

Ontem diverti-me a desenhar Humpty Dumpties despidos... Lá porque se é um ovo, não há porque não ter sexo, certo? Enfim, ninguém disse que o Humpty Dumpty de John Tenniel não tinha sexo, mas pelos desenhos vê-se que "aquela" parte é demasiado plana... (John Tenniel é o ilustrador original da Alice no País das Maravilhas de Lewis Carroll).

Acho que no fundo esta é uma ideia que me veio de um outro desenho feito há mais tempo, sobre aquilo que a minha mãe acha realmente ridículo num homem: estar todo nu, só em camisa e peugas. Enfim, as coisas que ocupam a cabeça de uma miúda...

Yesterday i had some fun drawing naked Humpty Dumpties.. just because you're an egg shaped creature doens't mean you don't have sex, right? Oh well, nobody said that the original John Tenniel's Humpty Dumpty didn't had sex, but you can tell by the drawings that "that" zone is too flat... (John Tenniel is the original illustrator of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland). I think i got the idea for this drawing in another drawing i had made some time ago, about something my mother finds most ridiculous in a man: To be naked, wearing just a shirt and some socks on. Oh well, go figure the kind of things a girl keeps in her brain...

Maria (1941 - 2007)

Nenhum dia é bom para perder amigos (mas chega eventualmente o dia em que os começamos a perder. Para mim esse dia foi 16 de Março de 2000). Hoje perdi a Maria. Esta princesa era para ela (e pertence-lhe).

No day is good to loose a friend (but sooner or later that day comes, when we start loosing people. For me that day was the 16th March 2000). Today i lost Maria. This princess was ment for her (and it belongs to her).

Mais uma Alice com flamingos. O borrãozinho que mal se vê em baixo à direita vai ser um porco espinho..

As pessoas continuam a dizer-me que é muito "sugestivo" e fálico fazer meninas com flamingos. Eu gosto de as fazer, nem sei bem porquê. Bem, em minha defesa digo que não fui eu que inventei esta imagem, peçam explicações ao Carroll!

People continue to tell me how sugestive and phallic it is to draw little girls with flamingoes. i like to draw them, i don't really know why. Well i shall say in my defense that i did not invented that picture, Carroll should explain it better!

Bons Momentos A Dois - em casa -

Na sequência dos outros Bons Momentos chega o bons momentos a dois, em casa! A acompahar este simpático casal há um confortável sofá (com almofada!), saborosos aperitivos e bebidas sortidas, um aparelho televisor com o respectivo comando à distância e uma suave mantinha... (faltou o gato, mas quando me lembrei dele já era tarde.. e em todo o caso faria as vezes da mantinha portanto ficava repetitivo). Following the previous Good Moments comes Good Moments Spent Just The Two - at home. With this nice couple you have a confortable couch (with a pillow!), tasty snacks and drinks, a TV and a soft blanket.. (i was going to put a cat but then it was too late.. oh well, the blanket will do).

O Meu Primeiro Periodo!

Este "recortável" do periodo acaba por ser muito semelhante a outros post que fiz sobre a menstruação, mas não resisti... This cut out is a bit like a remake of many other post i have already done here about menstruation, but i just couldn't resist...

Alice revisitada/ Alice revisited

Nos últimos dias senti vontade de voltar a desenhar Alices (é uma coisa que dá às pessoas de vez em quando... ou então devia dar!). Esta é a clássica Alice que cresceu demais e já não cabe dentro da casa do coelho.. ou dentro da folha de papel. On the last days i felt the urge to draw Alice again (it happens sometimes to people... or at least it should!). This is the classic Alice that grew too big to fit the White Rabbit house.. or even the sheet of paper.
Gosto muito do coelho branco. Tenho aliás um amigo que é uma espécie de meu coelho branco privado.. mas enfim, adiante.. Neste desenho ele está a correr (e não a cair como poderá parecer). Na verdade eu queria fazê-lo a andar de Harley Davinson, mas não consegui desenhar o raio da mota.. I like the White Rabbit very very much. I even have a friend who is to me like a kind of my private White Rabbit... but thats another story.. In this drawing the Rabbit is running (and not falling, as it might seem). Truly, i rather wanted to draw him ridding a Harley Davinson, but just wasn't able to draw the damn moto..
